It's tough out there!
We can help each other.
Hey friends,
I think we’ll all agree that life can be hard at times. Lately, with all the boycotting and financial hardships many are going through, it isn’t easy to make ends meet. Authors are no exception. The Amazon boycott (which didn’t really affect them at all) has been super hard on independent authors who rely on the retailers for their bread and butter.
Sadly, my book sales have been almost non-existent. I get it. The economy hasn’t been in good shape in years. So, I’d like to try something that might help you out and in return help me out.
I will be selling my books myself. While you can still also get them through Amazon, B&N, Apple, Google, Kobo, and many other retailers and library systems (you can ask your library to get my digital books through Overdrive, Baker and Taylor, BorrowBox, and several other library systems) I will be offering digital copies at a reduced rate.
What do you have to do? Just go to this Google doc and order. Then send payment using either Venmo or PayPal.
Once I receive your order and confirm the payment, I’ll send links to you to download the book(s).
Of course you can still buy the books through the other channels, but if you want a slight discount (and to give me a few cents more since I don’t have to share it with Amazon etc) then order through me. Unfortunately it’s not an automatic process at this point, but perhaps someday I’ll get it there.
For those who are new to my newsletter or those who missed it last time, I’m offering a FREE copy of TRUE DREAMS to get you started in the Storms of New England series. Take advantage of it now.
More good news! I finished the next book, book 9 of the Storms of New England, CHANCE DREAMS and it should be released some time over the summer. Then, I only have one more book in that series.
For those who prefer listening to audiobooks, I just signed a contract for all TEN of the Storms (yes even the ones not written/published yet) to be done in audio over the next year or so. The first few are already on Scribd/Everand. If you are a fan of audio but can’t afford the hefty price, Scribd/Everand is only $11.99 /month with UNLIMITED download of both digital and audiobooks! That’s a pretty good deal. Here’s where you can see my audiobooks and digital there. Scribd/Everand
My Love on the Line series, Rangers of Acadia series, and Last Chance Beach series are also available in audio at Scribd, Audible, B&N, iBooks, Chirp, and several other places.
I hope you have the opportunity to get as many books as you want (for me that’s an awful lot). Until next time… Happy Reading,
Kari
